The model consists of a GRP hull, with fittings to be made from plasticard and pre-made parts of white metal and brass. I will be adding lighting and other detail to the build.

Making the main deck supports. Here I have made a modification to the supports as I found that the rudder servo connection pieces fouled the supports. You can see the positioning of these pieces later on
I started building the AZIZ from Model Slipway in December 2005. I have had several breaks from building due to other commitments, but I am getting there! The model will be primarily a static model, but I am building the kit with the option to add motors and electronics to convert the AZIZ into a working model at a later date.
