THE NEWEST POSTS ARE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE ... Building the Aziz. A 1:50 scale model ship from the Model Slipway (see links). The model consists of a GRP hull, with fittings to be made from plasticard and pre-made parts of white metal and brass. I will be adding lighting and other detail to the build.

Here are all of the rear deck supports in place. Let's hope that the added pieces do not get in the way of anything later on !
I started building the AZIZ from Model Slipway in December 2005. I have had several breaks from building due to other commitments, but I am getting there! The model will be primarily a static model, but I am building the kit with the option to add motors and electronics to convert the AZIZ into a working model at a later date.
Here are all of the rear deck supports in place. Let's hope that the added pieces do not get in the way of anything later on !
