The model consists of a GRP hull, with fittings to be made from plasticard and pre-made parts of white metal and brass. I will be adding lighting and other detail to the build.

Here the bottom of the hull and the decks are masked off and I have started spraying the red colour of the upper hull. Lots of coats needed as the paint is very thin.
I started building the AZIZ from Model Slipway in December 2005. I have had several breaks from building due to other commitments, but I am getting there! The model will be primarily a static model, but I am building the kit with the option to add motors and electronics to convert the AZIZ into a working model at a later date.
