The model consists of a GRP hull, with fittings to be made from plasticard and pre-made parts of white metal and brass. I will be adding lighting and other detail to the build.

The propellers have been polished and attached to the shafts. The shafts were then greased and inserted into the shaft tubes. This is because it will be difficult to fit them when the rudders are on.
I started building the AZIZ from Model Slipway in December 2005. I have had several breaks from building due to other commitments, but I am getting there! The model will be primarily a static model, but I am building the kit with the option to add motors and electronics to convert the AZIZ into a working model at a later date.
