THE NEWEST POSTS ARE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE ... Building the Aziz. A 1:50 scale model ship from the Model Slipway (see links). The model consists of a GRP hull, with fittings to be made from plasticard and pre-made parts of white metal and brass. I will be adding lighting and other detail to the build.

The floor of the bridge structure has been painted. See the white mark? That's where I put something on it to test that it fitted ... before the glue was dry! Doh! sandpapering and recoating shortly!
I started building the AZIZ from Model Slipway in December 2005. I have had several breaks from building due to other commitments, but I am getting there! The model will be primarily a static model, but I am building the kit with the option to add motors and electronics to convert the AZIZ into a working model at a later date.
