THE NEWEST POSTS ARE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE ... Building the Aziz. A 1:50 scale model ship from the Model Slipway (see links). The model consists of a GRP hull, with fittings to be made from plasticard and pre-made parts of white metal and brass. I will be adding lighting and other detail to the build.

Most of the inside of the bridge is now painted as shown above (with dust from sanding!)
I started building the AZIZ from Model Slipway in December 2005. I have had several breaks from building due to other commitments, but I am getting there! The model will be primarily a static model, but I am building the kit with the option to add motors and electronics to convert the AZIZ into a working model at a later date.
Most of the inside of the bridge is now painted as shown above (with dust from sanding!)
