THE NEWEST POSTS ARE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE ... Building the Aziz. A 1:50 scale model ship from the Model Slipway (see links). The model consists of a GRP hull, with fittings to be made from plasticard and pre-made parts of white metal and brass. I will be adding lighting and other detail to the build.

The railings on top of the bridge have been completed. This is quite awkward to do but not as difficult as I thought it would be. I used super glue instead of soldering and the result seems quite good
I started building the AZIZ from Model Slipway in December 2005. I have had several breaks from building due to other commitments, but I am getting there! The model will be primarily a static model, but I am building the kit with the option to add motors and electronics to convert the AZIZ into a working model at a later date.
